Rollin Log Tavern
About This Spot
Stepping into Rollin Log Tavern in the heart of Issaquah feels like slipping into a well-worn neighborhood hideout where time slows just enough to savor familiar comfort. The dim lighting, the hum of lighthearted chatter, and the steady rhythm of pool balls clacking together create an inviting backdrop that’s as unpretentious as it is welcoming. This is a place where the pace naturally eases, encouraging easy conversation and the kind of laughter that comes from long days well unwound.
Here, the atmosphere blends the classic dive bar charm with a touch of laid-back liveliness—a community crossroads where locals gather to shoot darts, slide pucks on the shuffleboard, or join in on karaoke nights with quiet enthusiasm. The friendly, down-to-earth crowd feels like an extension of the staff’s own warmth, showcasing how a simple space can become a genuine meeting point beyond the ordinary.
Food and drink come together effortlessly, reflecting the tavern’s unpretentious spirit. Whether it’s a cold can of Rainier or a glass of hazy IPA, the beverage choices hit familiar notes without fuss. Meanwhile, the kitchen quietly supports the vibe with comforting fare like a rich blackened chicken sandwich paired with crisp Caesar salad or a hearty cheese burger salad that strikes the perfect balance between indulgence and casual satisfaction. On certain nights, the menu expands to welcome those craving the coziness of a well-made grilled cheese with ham or the communal delight of super nachos shared among friends.
Rollin Log Tavern feels less like a destination and more like a secret kept alive by those who appreciate its genuine, unpolished character. There’s a steady hum of music, the occasional cheer from live performances on Friday nights, and even simple touches like the availability of free popcorn, all adding layers to the space’s lived-in warmth. It’s a place that welcomes without pretense,

I like the place and vibe. Nice and fast staff. But the only reason I come here is the reasonable prices. I still see some expensive items but still much much better than other bars in the area. I hope they keep the prices and quality the same. I would like to see more happy hour options to drag more visitors as well. It will really help customers specifically in this crazy economy and unaffordable environment. Overall kudos to the people and management who work and run this place. No red flags No issues Lots of parking lots Karaoke options available Poor tables Popcorn My visit was Thursday 8:00 PM #issaquahbar #music #pool #drinks

I’m updating this review after 6 years! Everytime I’ve come to Rollin Tavern I’ve always had a good time! This is an Issaquah secret hideout, it has a Pub like atmosphere with a pool table, karaoke and most of the people are low key and down to earth.

Classic dive bar! They have pool tables, shuffleboard, karaoke, etc. Food on certain nights. Just a great local spot to drop in for a beer or two!

Was recommended after asking about a good dive bar in the area. It hit the nail right on the head. They got liquor, beer, cider and wine. Like any good dive bar, it’s dark and brooding, in a good way. Throw some darts, play some pool, slide some pucks on the shuffle board pitch.

Perfect dive bar in the middle of little downtown Issaquah. Friendly staff, lots of room, great juke box, pool tables, shuffleboard, tvs, pull tabs. Live music Fridays. Free popcorn!!! We had chili, it was really great. Good looking menu including breakfast and many homemade options. Fried fish and prawn tacos looked yummy. Definitely our type of bar. Cozy, friendly and fun.

I had the Chicken Burger with fries, and honestly, it was amazing. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and topped with just the right amount of coleslaw for a perfect crunch. What blew me away was that even the last bite was still crispy—no sogginess at all! The fries were just as good, seasoned with this addictive spice blend that I’m still thinking about. Funny thing—I took pictures of the place, the sign, even the seating… but completely forgot to take a photo of the actual food. That’s how excited I was to eat it! The staff was super friendly, the vibe was chill, and it's easy to find right on the main strip. Definitely going back (and next time I’ll get that food pic)!
